In a recent crackdown on environmental violations, the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps seized a significant quantity of banned styrofoam products at Ojuwoye Market in Mushin. This action was confirmed by the Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, in a statement released on X.com.
The confiscated styrofoam items were promptly transported to the KAI office in Oshodi for proper disposal through incineration. The operation was a result of intelligence gathering by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) at Ojuwoye Market.
The government of Lagos State emphasizes its dedication to creating a healthier, cleaner, and safer environment for all residents. This enforcement of the ban on styrofoam products is a crucial step towards achieving this goal.
