Iran’s Presidential Runoff Abroad Plans – Iran News Daily

Iran’s Caretaker Foreign Minister, Ali Baqeri, announced that preparations have been made for the second round of the Iranian presidential election to take place in foreign countries. Despite this, Iranian expatriates will not be able to vote in Canada due to the government’s decision to list the IRGC as a terrorist entity. Baqeri criticized Canada for violating the human rights of Iranians and showing unity with terrorists.

The 14th Iranian presidential election was held early on June 28 following the tragic passing of President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash. Masoud Pezeshkian and Saeed Jalili emerged as the top candidates and will compete in a showdown on July 5.

This election comes at a crucial time for Iran, with tensions running high both domestically and internationally. The outcome of the election will undoubtedly have far-reaching implications for the country’s future.
