Recently, the EFF criticized President Ramaphosa’s decision to gift the DA with ministerial and deputy ministerial positions, as well as the role of deputy speaker of parliament. The EFF accused the ANC of abandoning its historical role as a liberation movement and becoming an instrument of white supremacy and capital interests.
The DA has taken on key positions in various government departments including agriculture, basic education, public works, and more. They also assumed deputy minister roles in finance, trade, industry, and other areas.
The EFF labeled the GNU as a disguise for an ANC-DA coalition, noting that most portfolios were shared between the two parties. Despite this, the EFF promised to remain a strong opposition force to challenge the policies of the ANC-DA coalition.
