Call to Action: Urging the Restructuring of Nigeria for Progress and Peace

The need for restructuring in Nigeria to foster progress, peace, and abundance has been emphasized by the Prelate Emeritus of Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence (Dr) Sunday Ola Makinde. Hosting The Rebirth Group in Ibadan, Makinde stressed the importance of restructuring for the country to reclaim its former glory.

Highlighting the successful economic development and prosperity during the First Republic, Makinde pointed out that the military’s involvement in politics has hindered the nation’s growth.

Advocating for a restructured system, Owolabi Oladejo from The Rebirth Group proposed the formation of United Regions of Nigeria (URN) as a solution to the country’s current challenges.

In a bid to bring about positive change, both Makinde and Oladejo urge the Federal Government to consider restructuring as a crucial step towards achieving peace, progress, and abundance in Nigeria.
