German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock accused Russia of carrying out hybrid attacks on the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. At a joint news conference with Latvian counterpart Baiba Braze, Baerbock pledged to strengthen solidarity with the Baltic countries against Russian threats.

Baerbock highlighted the increasing focus of Russian hybrid warfare in the Baltic region, including GPS jamming, disinformation networks, and border incidents. Germany and its Western allies have bolstered military presence in the area to enhance defense and deterrence.

Emphasizing the collective security of NATO and EU members, Baerbock reassured the Baltic states of support, stating, “The security of the Baltic States is our own security.” As tensions with Russia persist, continued efforts will be made to safeguard the region.

With the evolving security landscape in Eastern Europe, Baerbock’s stance signals a unified front against Russian aggression and a commitment to upholding peace and stability in the Baltics.
