The Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs commends Russia and China for their stance on Palestinian issue
In a recent development, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the caretaker government in Sanaa, Hisham Sharaf, penned two letters to the Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergei Lavrov, and the Foreign Minister of China, Wang Yi. In these letters, Sharaf lauded Russia and China for abstaining from voting on Security Council Resolution No. “2739”, highlighting the connection between the situation in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea with the war crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza.
Emphasizing the significance of the Palestinian cause, Sharaf expressed regret over some countries’ recent move towards normalization with Israel. He underlined the necessity of targeting ships owned by the Zionist enemy to end military aggression and ensure the smooth entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Sharaf also conveyed Sanaa’s eagerness to strengthen collaboration with Russia and China in the post-aggression phase, emphasizing the need for permanent coordination between the three nations.
These letters signify Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to defending their rights against external aggression.
