The government of Telangana is introducing a new policy to appoint one teacher for every government school with a strength of one to 10 students. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of education in these schools.

In alignment with this policy, the state government has recently started transferring teachers based on the number of students in each school. Previously, the allocation of teachers was based on a different set of guidelines.

Under the new system, one teacher will be assigned to schools with 1 – 10 students, two teachers for 11 to 40 students, and three teachers for schools with 41 to 60 students.

Additionally, the government has introduced web options for filling teacher posts in schools with more than 61 students, while schools with zero students will not receive teacher allocations.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized the government’s commitment to upgrading school infrastructure and educational facilities across all villages and hamlets. This includes a significant investment to rebuild dilapidated school buildings.

Moreover, the government launched the Professor Jayashankar Badi Bata program to boost student enrolment in government schools.
