2024 0701 tr scaled

After 123 days of delay, the Supreme Court has ruled on Trump’s claim of immunity in the election subversion case.

The Court determined that a president is presumed immune for acts within the office’s authority, giving Trump an advantage in the Capitol attack case and Electoral College disputes.

This decision, authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, emphasizes the need for an independent Executive branch.
