Poland’s Deadly Weather on Last Sunday of June

Poland is bracing for extreme weather conditions this Sunday, with the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issuing third-degree storm warnings for several regions. Meteorologist Kamil Walczak predicts severe thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds reaching speeds up to 130 km/h in some areas.

Temperatures across the country are expected to exceed 30°C, with some regions potentially hitting 35°C. Even without storms, the wind is forecasted to be moderate to strong.

In response to the heat and storm forecasts, heat warnings have been issued, with the highest level of storm warnings for the most at-risk areas. The Government Security Center has issued a nationwide alert urging residents to seek shelter during the storms.

With high temperatures and severe weather on the horizon, residents are advised to stay vigilant, secure outdoor items, avoid unnecessary travel, and seek shelter indoors during storms. Let’s all stay safe and weather the storm together!
