Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), expressed concern over the uncertainty surrounding the NEET medical entrance examination, stating that it has caused restlessness, anxiety, and anger among the people. The controversy over alleged irregularities, including paper leaks, in the NEET-UG exam has sparked protests and litigation, leading to calls for a complete re-examination.

In response to the situation, the Union health ministry decided to postpone the NEET-PG exam scheduled for June 23 as a precautionary measure. Mayawati emphasized the need for a quick and correct permanent solution to address the unrest caused by the uncertainty surrounding the NEET exams.

She also highlighted the seriousness of paper leaks in examinations at both national and state levels, as well as corruption in government recruitments. Mayawati called for strict measures to prevent such irregularities, stating that government negligence or political interference in these matters is unacceptable.
