Iran Warns Israel of Consequences for Attacking Lebanon
Iran’s interim Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani has issued a stern warning to the Israeli regime, cautioning of “detrimental consequences” if they attack Lebanon. In a phone call with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Bagheri Kani highlighted Hezbollah’s preparedness to defend against any Israeli aggression.
He emphasized that Israel’s threats against Lebanon reflect their barbaric nature, following their crimes in Gaza. With tensions escalating along Lebanon’s southern border, Hezbollah has been retaliating against Israeli attacks. Bagheri Kani also praised Turkey’s involvement in regional cooperation and called for enhanced trade relations between Iran and Turkey to ensure sustainable security.
Fidan condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza and warned of the lasting impacts of their policies on the region. The international community must address Israel’s atrocities, as the conflict continues to claim innocent lives.
