A group of Lagos State indigenes, De Renaissance Patriots, is calling on the government to address the recurring flooding issues in Lagos Island and Lekki Phase I. They emphasize the need for immediate action to prevent the yearly disruption caused by floods in these areas.

Additionally, Club Seventies Epe (CSE), a non-profit social group, highlights the importance of more attention to Epe Division by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration. The newly sworn-in President, Yusuf Yunus, vows to work towards enhancing the welfare and development of Epe residents, seeking support from the government for infrastructure and economic growth in the region.

Both groups are urging the authorities to prioritize environmental sustainability and community well-being in Lagos State, emphasizing the collective effort required to address these pressing issues.
