Terrorists Abduct Village Head in Kaduna
In a distressing development, terrorists have abducted Mallam Ashiru Sherehu, the village head of Tunburku in Giwa Local Government area of Kaduna. Sherehu was kidnapped on his way back from the farm on Saturday, adding to the wave of insecurity in the region. Bandits have been wreaking havoc in the area, particularly in the Fatika district, making it unsafe for farmers to access their farms.
Residents like Mallam Ahmadu have expressed concerns over the escalating attacks and abductions by armed bandits. The recent incident of the village head being taken by the attackers has sent shockwaves through the community. Hussaini Umar, a traditional leader, verified the abduction and urged for increased security measures to protect the farmers.
