BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Beirut has issued a statement urging its citizens to evacuate Lebanon amidst escalating tensions between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah party, as reported by Trend.
The diplomatic mission is closely monitoring the situation in southern Lebanon and advising Saudi citizens to adhere to the travel ban to Lebanon. Those already in Lebanon are advised to leave the country immediately to ensure their safety.
Following an Israeli army-approved operational plan for a potential offensive in Lebanon, the Israeli authorities are preparing to target Hezbollah in response to their recent operation against the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip.
