Russian Warships Wrap Up Successful Unofficial Visit to Azerbaijan
The Volgodonsk small artillery and Anatoly Gujvin hydrographic ships from the Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Navy recently concluded their unofficial friendly visit to Azerbaijan. After spending time in Baku, the ships have departed from the port, as reported by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.
During their visit, the crews of the ships enjoyed a tour of Baku to explore the city’s cultural and historical landmarks. Additionally, friendly football and volleyball matches were organized between Azerbaijani and Russian military sailors, with the Azerbaijani team emerging victorious in both games and receiving cups and medals as awards.
