Tragedy Strikes in the Philippines: Massive Firecracker Depot Blast Leaves Five Dead and Dozens Injured
Five people, including a child, lost their lives in a devastating firecracker depot explosion in the Philippines. Another 38 individuals were injured, with eight in critical condition. The blast, which occurred in Zamboanga City, created a 20m-long crater and damaged multiple nearby structures.
Tragically, the casualties included four warehouse workers and a four-year-old child. Firefighters battled the blaze ignited by the explosion for nearly two hours. Authorities suspect that stored pyrotechnics in the warehouse led to the tragic incident.
