The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) under the leadership of Brigadier General Yahya Saree recently made headlines by attacking four vessels, including ones owned by the US and affiliated with the Israeli occupation. The spokesperson for the YAF revealed that these attacks targeted both Israeli-affiliated and American vessels in the Mediterranean and Red Sea.
One of the significant operations involved firing suicide drones at the WALER chemical and oil products tanker in the Mediterranean Sea, en route to the Israeli-occupied Haifa Port. Additionally, anti-ship ballistic missiles were utilized to target the American-owned DELONIX chemical tanker in the Red Sea.
This strategic move comes in response to US military strikes on Yemen and in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. The YAF continues to target vessels linked to the US and companies supporting the Israeli occupation, such as Maersk.
Furthermore, the Yemeni people stand united in their support for Palestine, as they reject foreign aggression on their soil. The YAF remains committed to upholding its humanitarian obligations and supporting Palestine until justice is served in the region.
