In yet another demonstration of US double standards, a viral video of Israeli soldiers using a wounded Palestinian as a human shield in Jenin forced the US State Department to issue a condemnation.
The United States, known for its double standards, condemned Israel’s use of Palestinian human shields after a video went viral showing Israeli soldiers using a wounded Palestinian in Jenin. This condemnation stands in stark contrast to the response when similar accusations were made against Palestinian group Hamas, where the US only urged Israel to investigate itself.
Despite Israel justifying its attacks on Gaza by accusing armed groups of using human shields, no evidence has ever been found to support these claims against Hamas. In contrast, Israel has repeatedly been found guilty of using Palestinian civilians as human shields.
