The Sarajevo Canton Police has recently acquired 76 new official motor vehicles, aligning with the strategic planning to strengthen and enhance the capacity of the Ministry of Interior Police Department. Minister of Internal Affairs Admir Katica and Police Commissioner Fatmir Hajdarević spearheaded this initiative to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

After securing funds from the Sarajevo Canton Government, the procurement of various vehicles was completed, including Toyota, Škoda, and VW models. With a focus on modernizing the fleet, Minister Katica emphasized the importance of providing police officers with the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively.

Police Commissioner Hajdarević highlighted the importance of these new vehicles in ensuring the safety of officers and enhancing overall operational capabilities. The continuous improvement of material and technical capacities is crucial for the successful execution of police tasks.

This procurement marks a significant milestone as previous years saw limited acquisitions of official vehicles. The addition of these new vehicles underscores the commitment to building a stronger and more efficient police force in Sarajevo Canton.
