Leader of the Islamic Revolution Hails Sacrifices of Resistance Front Fighters Against Terrorists
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei recently met with members of the International Meeting of the Holy Shrine Defenders and the Resistance Front Martyrs in Tehran. He praised the brave sacrifices made by these fighters in Iraq and Syria in their battle against Takfiri terrorist groups.
Ayatollah Khamenei commended the Holy Shrine Defenders as a symbol of Iran’s internationalism and highlighted the unity and passion of the Islamic Revolution displayed by young people from different nations. He emphasized how these defenders ultimately thwarted the enemy’s attempts to destabilize the region and Iran.
The Leader also condemned the violent nature of groups like Daesh, fueled by Western support, and credited the Holy Shrine Defenders for neutralizing their threats. He expressed gratitude to these martyrs and their families, acknowledging their crucial role in protecting Iran and the region.
The meeting underscored the ongoing success of Syrian and Iraqi forces in reclaiming territories once held by terrorist organizations, showcasing the resilience and determination of those who fight against extremism.
