A new power transmission line has been activated on Eid Ghadir, connecting Noshahr and Royan with 4 circuits of 230 and 63 kv. This project aims to enhance electricity service quality, increase reliability, improve network stability, and resolve the issue of Noshahr power plant production blockage. The collaboration of Mazandaran and Golestan regional electricity experts, contractors, consultants, and equipment suppliers made this project possible.
Spanning 42 km from Noshahr to Royan, with a circuit length of 168 km, this vital project can transmit 1400 megawatts of power between the center and west of Mazandaran province. Recognized as one of 180 crucial initiatives by the 13th government to address high annual electricity consumption peaks, the power line features 131 metal mesh towers. It represents a significant step towards enhancing the energy infrastructure and improving electricity transmission capacity in the region.
