Polish Firefighters Respond to Over 1,000 Incidents Amid Severe Weather
Polish firefighters were kept busy yesterday, handling a total of 1,142 incidents triggered by strong winds and flooding. According to Karol Kierzkowski, spokesperson for the Chief Commandant of the State Fire Service, the most affected regions were Łódź, West Pomerania, Greater Poland, and Silesia.

In Lower Silesia, a tree fell on a car injuring one person. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued storm warnings for various voivodeships. Additionally, heat warnings were issued for most of the country. The Government Security Center also sent alerts to residents in several regions, cautioning them about potential thunderstorms and advising them to find safe shelter.
