Three human rights groups have taken legal action against the Dutch government for failing to comply with a ban on supplying F-35 fighter jet parts to the Israeli occupation. Despite a court ruling in February ordering the Netherlands to halt deliveries, parts are still reaching Israeli planes.

The court expressed concerns over the planes being used in violations of international humanitarian law. The rights groups argue that the ban is ineffective as parts continue to reach Israel through other channels.

Oxfam Novib, a group involved in the lawsuit, highlighted the ongoing deliveries to other countries, including the United States, which eventually lead to Israeli F-35s. The government is urged to actively prevent the transfer of parts to Israel to comply with the court order.

It is evident from court documents that parts manufactured in the Netherlands are sent to the US for a global pool of spare parts, indicating a loophole in preventing supplies to Israeli fighter jets.
