KZN traditional leaders have confidence in new provincial cabinet.

The House of Traditional Leaders in KwaZulu-Natal is hopeful about the new provincial leadership’s dedication to addressing longstanding issues regarding safety and overdue payments for traditional leaders. Despite past disagreements with the government, there is optimism for improved collaboration and resolution under the new administration, aiming to resolve administrative challenges faced by amakhosi and izinduna.

Inkosi Sifiso Shinga, chairperson of the provincial House, expressed a desire for a positive partnership with Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Thulasizwe Buthelezi. This partnership is crucial for creating a conducive environment for traditional leaders to fulfill their roles effectively.
