Finland continues to show its support for Ukraine by providing military assistance worth 159 million euros in their 24th package of aid. This brings the total Finnish military aid to Ukraine to 2.2 billion euros, in addition to 239 million euros in humanitarian and financial support.

Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen emphasized Finland’s commitment to Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression, highlighting the importance of standing up for the rights of free peoples. The specifics of the aid package remain undisclosed for security reasons.

Furthermore, Finland and Ukraine solidified their support with a 10-year security agreement, strengthening their cooperation in the face of Russian threats. President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed the agreement as a symbol of Finland’s dedication to helping Ukraine combat external aggression.
