Business Forum Strengthens Azerbaijan-Montenegro Cooperation
In a recent business forum held in Podgorica as part of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Montenegro, Minister Sahil Babayev highlighted the strong and growing friendship and cooperation between the two countries. He emphasized the untapped potential in energy, transport, and trade sectors, despite Azerbaijan being one of the main investors in Montenegro. The trade turnover between the countries saw a significant 54.32 percent increase in 2023.
Deputy Prime Minister Nik Gjeloshaj of Montenegro also stressed the importance of increasing trade turnover and the role of business forums in achieving this goal. The event saw presentations on the investment environment and promising projects in tourism, logistics, and agriculture. Representatives from various sectors attended, showcasing the diversity of industries involved in the cooperation.
The Protocol signed by Babayev and Gjeloshaj outlines future directions of cooperation, highlighting the commitment to further strengthen ties and explore new opportunities for mutual growth.
