Yemenia flights to Sanaa depend on return of pilgrims, says Yemen Press Agency

Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, expressed that Yemeni Airlines can resume flights if they ensure the safe return of Sanaa pilgrims. He demanded that the Yemenia company be operated by the people without any hindrance.

Sanaa has accused Saudi authorities of detaining 1,124 Yemeni pilgrims, who were supposed to return to Sanaa Airport but were diverted to Aden Airport. The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Umrah Affairs of the Sanaa government held Saudi authorities responsible for the risks the pilgrims may face from the security chaos in the occupied territories.

The Ministry emphasized that the agreement with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj mandates the return of Yemeni pilgrims to Sanaa International Airport for their safety.
