Israel Accused of Spying on ICC, Dutch Foreign Ministry Takes Action

The Dutch Foreign Ministry has summoned Israel’s ambassador over accusations of spying on the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ministry stated that such activities are unacceptable and interfere with the ICC’s investigations into alleged war crimes.

Reports revealed that Israel conducted a secret surveillance operation targeting ICC officials and Palestinian rights workers to obstruct the probe. The Netherlands, as the host state of the ICC, is obligated to ensure the safety and security of court staff.

Dutch Lawmakers Call for Probe into Israeli Actions

In response, Dutch lawmakers have demanded an investigation into Israel’s alleged espionage to disrupt ICC proceedings against Israeli and Palestinian officials. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu reportedly fears arrest warrants from the ICC.

Ongoing Genocide in Gaza

Meanwhile, Israel is facing accusations of genocide against Palestinians, with thousands killed and wounded. The conflict has caused a humanitarian crisis, leading to mass displacements and famine in Gaza.

The situation highlights the urgent need for accountability and justice in the region.
