Netanyahu Warns Retired U.S. Generals of Iran’s Threat to Conquer Saudi Arabia
In a recent meeting with retired U.S. generals and admirals, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning about the growing threat of the terror axis led by Iran. In a video posted by his office, Netanyahu highlighted the march of the terror axis towards conquering Saudi Arabia.
The statement comes in the midst of the Biden administration’s efforts to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, an initiative that Netanyahu has opposed due to his stance on acknowledging a Palestinian state.
Netanyahu stressed the need to deter Iran and its proxies, emphasizing that the Iran terror axis poses a threat not only to Israel but to the entire Middle East. He painted a picture of Iran’s ambition to conquer Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula.
The meeting, organized by the Jewish-American organization JINSA, took place in Tel Aviv and focused on discussing the challenges facing Israel on multiple fronts. Netanyahu reiterated Israel’s commitment to defending against threats from various sources, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iranian militias.
