In a recent interview with Roya, energy affairs expert Amer Al-Shobaki made predictions regarding fuel prices in Jordan for July. He forecasted a decrease of 1.5 piaster per liter for both 90-octane and 95-octane gasoline, while diesel prices are expected to increase by 0.5 piaster per liter.

Al-Shobaki attributed these changes to global trends, with gasoline prices decreasing and diesel prices rising on a monthly average. He pointed out that oil prices fluctuated in June due to various factors, including OPEC+ decisions and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Despite a recent reduction in fuel prices by the Jordanian government, Al-Shobaki highlighted the impact of global events on oil derivative prices. With rising tensions and disruptions in key oil transit routes, the situation remains volatile.

As Jordan braces for potential adjustments in fuel prices, consumers can expect shifts in gasoline and diesel costs in the upcoming month. Stay tuned for updates on the latest developments in the energy market.
