A female sniper from the Ukrainian Defense Forces received a new sniper complex named after the town of Vovchansk, thanks to the Vengeance Guard project. Yury Chornomorets and Dmytro Batishchev, the volunteers behind the project, have raised funds to provide equipment to the military, with Chornomorets handing over three hundred sniper complexes.

Vovchansk now joins the list of cities represented at the front with designated sniper weapons, showcasing the success of the initiative. The Kyiv Post highlighted the fundraising efforts in a piece titled “May They Burn Like Our Houses: Evacuees in Kharkiv Region Speak Out,” bringing attention to the cause.

The volunteers continue to raise funds for additional equipment, ensuring the sniper’s capabilities to shoot at long ranges. The project aims to empower Ukrainian snipers with the necessary tools and support.

The female sniper, whose identity remains confidential for security reasons, is set to join her comrades in the Kharkiv sector, where her skills will provide essential cover. The Vengeance Guard project is a community-driven initiative, enabling cities to support snipers by fundraising for vital equipment.

Support for Ukrainian snipers continues through the People’s Vengeance Guard, with a new fundraiser underway for a sniper rifle named after the hero city of Okhtyrka. Donations can be made via PayPal to [email protected].
