Parliamentary Proceedings: BJP Leader Anurag Thakur to Move Motion of Thanks in Lok Sabha

Exciting times are ahead in the Indian Parliament as BJP leader Anurag Thakur is set to move the Motion of Thanks in the Lok Sabha on Friday. This will be followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response on July 2. In the Rajya Sabha, BJP’s Sudhanshu Trivedi will lead the motion, with the PM likely to respond on July 3.

After the President’s address, both Houses will adopt separate motions to thank the President. The upcoming debate is expected to see heated exchanges between the ruling party and the opposition, with the recent general elections strengthening the latter. Major issues like exam paper leaks, including the NEET-UG question paper, are likely to dominate the discussions.

President Droupadi Murmu assured a thorough investigation into the paper leaks, and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan may intervene in the NEET-UG debate. The session, which began with references to the Emergency of 1975, is set to conclude on July 3.

Stay tuned for more updates on the parliamentary proceedings!
