Revamping Law and Order: AJK Police Introduces Special Anti-Riot Force

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) police have taken a proactive approach to handling future violent protests by establishing a ‘special anti-riot force’. This force, comprising 500 specially trained personnel aged between 20 and 30, aims to utilize psychological techniques to manage charged situations effectively.

IGP Rana Abdul Jabbar emphasized the importance of professional handling of crowds and avoiding confrontations to prevent potential losses. The force will be strategically stationed across divisional headquarters to ensure quick deployment when needed.

Furthermore, efforts to combat cybercrime and misinformation are underway, with plans to enhance cyber laws and establish a safe city project in major towns. The AJK police is committed to enhancing public safety and accountability through rigorous monitoring and upgrades.

Embracing modern policing methods, the AJK police is poised to maintain law and order while ensuring transparency and responsiveness to community concerns.
