In a recent Israeli missile aggression targeting points in the southern region of Syria, two civilians were tragically martyred and one military personnel was injured. The attack, which took place around 11:40 p.m. from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, was intercepted by our air defense systems, which successfully shot down a number of missiles. Sadly, the aggression resulted in the loss of two civilian lives, injuries to a military personnel, and some material damage.
This senseless act of violence serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict in the region and the toll it takes on innocent lives. As tensions remain high, it is crucial for all parties involved to prioritize peace and dialogue in order to prevent further loss and suffering.
