Mustafa and Baerbock discuss strategies to boost Gaza relief efforts

The Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock to discuss strengthening relief efforts in Gaza and putting an end to Israel’s attacks on the region. Mustafa emphasized the importance of UN Security Council resolution 2735 as a step towards a ceasefire and ensuring aid delivery to Gaza.

Mustafa also highlighted the need to stop Israeli occupation actions and settler attacks in the West Bank, reaffirming the Palestinian government’s commitment to providing services in Gaza. Baerbock emphasized the importance of joint efforts from the US, Europe, and Arab countries to achieve a two-state solution and resolve the conflict.

With tensions rising in the West Bank following Israel’s military offensive in Gaza, the Health Ministry reported over 553 Palestinian deaths, including 133 children, and nearly 5,300 injuries from Israeli army fire. The International Court of Justice has accused Israel of genocide and ordered an immediate halt to their military operation in Gaza.
