Ayatollah Khamenei recently met with thousands of people from five provinces in Iran to commemorate Eid al-Ghadeer and discuss the upcoming presidential election. The event, titled “Wilayat and Brotherhood,” saw attendees from Gilan, Markazi, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, North Khorasan, as well as the families of martyrs and caretakers of the Holy Shrine of Ahmad ibn Musa in Fars province.
The Leader emphasized the significance of Eid al-Ghadeer in the continuation of Islamic governance and touched upon the virtues of Imam Ali, highlighting the importance of individual participation in shaping the fate of the country. He also discussed the upcoming election, stressing the importance of maximum public participation to bring honor to the Islamic Republic.
Furthermore, Ayatollah Khamenei criticized politicians who rely on foreign powers for progress and development, stating that true potential lies within the country. He urged the Iranian nation to recognize and utilize its internal capacities for growth and success.
