5 countries urge their nationals to leave Lebanon amid Israel tensions

Several countries have issued travel advisories urging their citizens to leave Lebanon due to escalating violence with Israel.

The Dutch Foreign Ministry advised its citizens to avoid travel to Lebanon and encouraged those already there to leave as commercial flights are still available.

Germany also issued a travel warning, urging its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country immediately due to the tense situation at the border with Israel.

Canada and North Macedonia have also asked their nationals to leave Lebanon as soon as possible, citing security concerns amid the escalating tensions in the region.

Adding to the list, Kuwait and the U.K. issued advisories against travel to Lebanon, further emphasizing the worsening security situation in the country.

Amidst these warnings, the U.S. Embassy in Beirut advised American citizens to avoid travel to border areas with Israel and Syria, highlighting the increased tensions along Lebanon’s border with Israel.
