Convicted criminal Declan Brady was sentenced to ten years in prison on Monday for his involvement in the 2016 murder of 62-year-old Noel Kirwan.
Brady, also known as ‘Mr Nobody’, was convicted of three serious criminal offences committed by the Kinahan Organised Crime Group.
Noel Kirwan, a non-criminal, was targeted and shot six times in his driveway due to a mistaken belief that he was affiliated with a rival crime group.
Brady, who claims to have disassociated from the Kinahan group, was sentenced by Mr Justice Martin Nolan, with the final year suspended on the condition of continued disassociation.
Learn about Brady’s background leading to his involvement in criminal activities, his rise within the Kinahan cartel, and his part in the murder of Noel Kirwan. Unveil how law enforcement continues to identify enablers and facilitators in organised crime rings.
