London Jewish students attacked at station, pushed towards tracks

Recently, a group of Jewish students from Hasmonean High School for Boys faced a traumatic experience at Belsize Park train station in London. The incident, which occurred on Monday, is being treated as a hate crime by the authorities. The victims, eight year 7 students, aged 11-12, were attacked by individuals believed to be from a local school.

Details of the Attack

According to reports, the attackers physically assaulted the students, attempted to push one onto the tracks, and even made anti-Semitic remarks during the ordeal. One student had his payos pulled, adding to the distressing nature of the incident.

The mother of one of the victims shared her anguish, recounting how the attackers targeted the children from school and followed them to the tube station. Despite a member of the public intervening, the attackers persisted in their harassment.

Response and Appeal for Information

London Mayor Sadiq Khan condemned the attack, urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation. British Transport Police have also issued an appeal for witnesses to contact them with relevant details.

It is essential for the community to stand against such acts of hate and support the victims in seeking justice and safety.
