Ukraine’s First HIMARS Strike Hits FSB in Kursk Region

Reports from Ukrainian sources indicate that for the first time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces utilized HIMARS systems to target the Kursk region in Russia. Two missiles were fired at military facilities near Mirnyi and Dovgi Bumi, resulting in damage to the FSB building in Suzha.

The attack caused one FSB officer injury, damaged two cars, and disrupted electricity in the area. The US permission for Ukraine to strike at Russian territory thwarted Kremlin’s plans to deploy over 90,000 troops for an offensive in the Kharkiv region.

Ukrainian brigades swiftly utilized Western-supplied artillery and missile systems to defend Kharkiv, targeting border areas where Russian troops were massed.
