Ukrainian Missile Attack Claims Lives in Sevastopol, Crimea
Russia reported that a Ukrainian missile attack in the city of Sevastopol in Crimea resulted in at least three casualties and nearly 100 injuries. The incident occurred in the region annexed by Moscow in 2014.
According to Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russian-installed governor of the city, two children and one adult lost their lives, with almost 100 individuals wounded. Medical personnel are providing necessary care to the injured, with the healthcare system fully mobilized.
Razvozhayev mentioned that five missiles were shot down, with some fragments causing fires in residential and forested areas. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have intercepted four ATACMS missiles, while one detonated over the city.
As of now, Ukrainian authorities have not responded to the incident or Russia’s statements. The situation remains tense as both sides assess the aftermath of the missile attack.
