Headless Cat’s body discovered on Kobe sidewalk

In a shocking discovery, the decapitated body of a cat was found on a sidewalk in Kobe. The gruesome incident was reported by a man in his 70s in Kita Ward early on Sunday morning. The cat, an adult male, had its head severed with a sharp blade and seemed to have been dead for less than a day. Despite its 40-centimeter length, the severed head was missing from the scene.

Upon investigation, police found no bloodstains and suspect the cat was mutilated elsewhere before being left on the sidewalk. Surveillance cameras in the area are being reviewed in hopes of identifying the culprit. This incident bears resemblance to a previous case where four cats were found dead in a nearby cemetery, sparking concerns of a potential link.

Residents are on edge in this residential area as authorities work to solve the mystery behind these brutal acts. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
