As the Israeli war on Gaza persists, Palestinian Resistance fighters bravely confront Israeli occupation forces in the southern city of Rafah. The ongoing conflict reached a new level when Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades fired an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) at an Israeli armored vehicle for the first time since the invasion began in May 2024.
This significant event marks a rare use of ATGMs in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the determination and firepower of the Palestinian fighters. The vehicle, known as Ofek, was targeted in Tal Za’arab and caught fire upon impact, signaling a major blow to the Israeli forces.
In addition to this strategic move, the Palestinian Resistance conducted various operations, including heavy shelling of Israeli positions around Rafah and the Netsarim Axis. Mortar units, along with other brigades, launched coordinated attacks on Israeli military sites, showcasing unity and resilience in the face of adversity.
The Palestinian Resistance continues to fight back against the occupation, utilizing a range of tactics to defend their land and people amidst the prolonged conflict, now in its 262nd day.
