The Maharashtra ATS arrested two zilla parishad school teachers from Latur and booked four persons after it emerged that a racket was being operated to help NEET students willing to pay money to crack the examination

The CBI has taken over five cases of alleged malpractices in the NEET-UG exam in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Bihar, with two school teachers arrested in Maharashtra. Amid a political storm, the total number of arrests in Bihar has reached 18 regarding the NEET-UG irregularities. The CBI is now investigating a total of six cases involving impersonation and cheating.

The Maharashtra ATS arrested two zilla parishad school teachers and four others for running a racket to assist NEET students in exchange for money. The Central Bureau of Investigation has initiated probes into these cases and removed the NTA director-general to hand over the investigation.

The CBI is now conducting investigations into six cases related to NEET-UG irregularities, signaling a crackdown on malpractices in the prestigious exam. The arrests and investigations reflect a deep-rooted issue that needs urgent attention to maintain the integrity of the examination process.
