The suspect, identified as Elizabeth Wolf, 42, displayed drunken behavior and targeted the child’s mother, who is Muslim and Palestinian, in a disturbing attack.
On May 19, the Euless Police Department responded to a call at the pool where witnesses described Wolf’s attempt to drown the child. The mother revealed the terrifying ordeal, including Wolf’s unsettling questions and derogatory remarks towards her ethnicity.
The traumatized family is calling for justice and safety as they grapple with the aftermath of the assault. The suspect has posted bail, prompting concerns about future threats to their well-being.
