The Air Transport Union refutes claims of Hezbollah presence at Beirut Airport
The Air Transport Union in Lebanon (UTA) has dismissed The Telegraph’s report alleging that Hezbollah stores missiles and explosives at Lebanon’s main airport, labeling the claims as unsubstantiated and dangerous. They criticized the publication for endangering the safety of airport personnel and travelers by spreading false information.
The UTA held the media accountable for the safety of all airport personnel, inviting them to visit and verify the alleged claims. Caretaker Minister Ali Hamieh also denounced the report, questioning its credibility and announcing plans to file a lawsuit against the newspaper.
