Former President Donald Trump addressed the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “2024 Road to Majority” conference, discussing his views on abortion with evangelical supporters. While Trump has previously expressed conflicting opinions on a national abortion ban, he emphasized the importance of allowing states to decide on the issue.

Despite his wavering stance, Christian conservatives remain a vital part of Trump’s base, applauding his nomination of three Supreme Court justices who played a role in overturning Roe v. Wade. The Faith and Freedom Coalition, a key advocate for abortion bans, welcomed Trump’s ninth appearance at their conference.

In his speech, Trump urged Christians to turn out in large numbers for the upcoming election, warning of the consequences of a Biden reelection. He labeled Biden as “crooked” and “a threat to democracy,” calling on voters to support him in removing Biden from office.

Responding to Trump’s remarks, the Biden campaign criticized his speech as “incoherent” and “unhinged,” urging voters to support Biden and Harris to prevent Trump from returning to the White House.
