Rahul Gandhi virtually interacts with victims’ families, assures Congress support

Rajkot: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi showed his solidarity with the victims of the tragic TRP game zone fire in Rajkot, Gujarat by interacting with their relatives via video conferencing. The fire, which occurred on May 25, claimed the lives of 27 people, including four children.

Gandhi expressed his condolences and assured the families that the Congress party stands with them in this difficult time. He was joined by Congress’ Gujarat unit president Shaktisinh Gohil and other party members in offering support to the victims’ relatives.

The Congress has called for a ‘Rajkot Bandh’ on June 25, marking one month since the incident, to demand higher compensation for the victims’ families from the BJP government. The party has been actively campaigning for justice for the victims and their families.

Following the tragic incident, the state government formed a Special Investigation Team to look into the causes of the fire and suggest measures to prevent similar disasters in the future. Several arrests have already been made in connection with the incident.
