Thousands of protesters gathered in central London for the ‘Restore Nature Now’ march, demanding urgent political action on nature. Highlighting concerns about river cleanliness, protestors like Frances Dismore from a river restoration group called for nationalizing water companies. With climate activists pushing for greener policies, the upcoming election could impact the future of environmental action in the UK.
Despite promises from Labour and criticism of Conservative commitments, protesters like Jane Price emphasized the need for climate and ecology to be top priorities for politicians. As the march drew attention to environmental issues, the message was clear: voters want action now.
