Juba County Chiefs Meet Governor to Address Challenges

Traditional chiefs from Juba County in Central Equatoria State recently met with Governor Augustino Jadalla Wani to address various challenges, including the disruption of farming activities by herders. The chiefs congratulated the governor on his recent appointment by President Kiir and pledged their support on governance issues in the state.
The Paramount Chief of Juba County, Angelo Ladu Lino, highlighted the need for the state government to address the challenges posed by herders who have intruded the county, causing insecurity and disrupting agricultural activities. Governor Jadalla emphasized his commitment to unity among all tribes in the county.
In recent years, conflicts between farmers and cattle keepers have been on the rise in Central Equatoria and Eastern Equatoria states.
